About the Role
As the Service Technician, your role will be to carry out general maintenance and servicing of Surface Mobile Equipment. This includes routine fuel and lubrication top ups on our equipment, in the field and state of the art workshops. You will be required to operate Light Vehicle class and service truck vehicles.
South Flank has now transitioned from its previous 2/1 roster to an 8/6/7/7, 12-hour day/night FIFO roster, allowing you more time to enjoy doing what you love. If you are moving from a 2/1 roster, this means an average of 43 more days at home – including every other weekend off!

About You
We are eager to engage with people who have a genuine interest in the mining industry. We would still love to hear from those who come from a range of backgrounds such as Construction, Manufacturing, Aviation, Civil, Defence, Marine, Oil & Gas and Agriculture– just to name a few!
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• C Class Drivers Licence is essential (HR Drivers Licence is preferred) • Experience with re-fueling and servicing of Mobile Equipment is advantageous • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, Elevated Work Platform is desirable • Confined Space and Working Safely at Heights Tickets is desirable • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way • Be focused on working collaboratively within your team to achieve results • Able to follow relevant processes and procedures within your department • Be a team player who is self-motivated • Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture
