Macmahon have secured a 5-year Surface and Underground mining contract with RED 5 ltd, the mine will have annual production above 200kozpa, King of the Hills is Australia’s next major Gold Mine which will feature State-of-the-Art Technology 85% new plant and brand-new camp facilities.  currently acquired a new are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team 

We are currently seeking Service Persons on a 2:1 roster for the "King of the Hills” site located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia 28km north of Leonora. The position of a Service Person is responsible for monitoring the efficiency of machines on site, refuelling and servicing of machinery.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•    Proven experience working in the Mining sector
•    Experience working on CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment preferred
•    Ensure all relevant plant is appropriately serviced, maintained, managed, and operated
•    Responsible for monitoring the efficiency of machines on site, refuelling, servicing of machinery and record all data correctly
•    Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
•    Keep service truck in good condition at all times, washing and cleaning when required
•    Ensure work is carried to site requirements

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
•    Previous mechanical experience working on  open cut mining equipment
•    Sound planning and organisational skills
•    Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
•    Physically fit for the demands of the role
•    Manual HR class driver’s license
•    Ensure the service vehicle unit is stocked 
•    Maintain a clean and safe working environment along with a high standard of housekeeping within the service truck.
•    Perform all duties as requested by Maintenance Supervisor
