King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. Undergoing significant expansion, KOTH is nearing completion of a 7.5 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant (previously 5.2Mtpa), providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora, within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Serviceperson is responsible for The purpose of the position of the Serviceperson is responsible for carrying out refuelling, lubrication, fluid top-ups, and basic servicing of mobile plant and ancillary equipment to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and safe operation. The role also assists trades in maintenance tasks and ensures compliance with site safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Refuel and replenish lubricants, coolants, and other fluids for mobile plant in accordance with schedules.
• Conduct basic checks and inspections on equipment including lights, tyres, and fluid levels.
• Clean equipment as required to maintain operational standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, fuel bays, and lube facilities.
• Accurately record fuel and lubricant usage in site systems.
• Ensure stock levels of consumables are maintained.

About You

• Previous experience servicing and operating heavy mobile plant equipment, with sound knowledge of the safe handling, storage, and management of fuels, oils, and lubricants.
• Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020 the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
• Holds a High Risk Work (HRW) Licence (LF)
• Hold a current WA Driver’s License (manual C Class and HR Class)
