About the role

We are looking for a Services and Facilities Coordinator to work closely with our Crew Leader to manage a wide variety of contractors completing works on our site which may include carpentry, plumbing, roofing, road works, fire systems and flooring to name but a few!

You will report to a supportive Crew Leader who is keen to nurture, coach and mentor to allow you to progress and develop as a leader. There will also be opportunities to act as a Crew Leader for periods of leave etc. We are open to discussing flexibility in the work roster for this role.

Some of the key duties of the role will include:

  • Plan, scope and schedule works on site with a variety of contractors and trades via the work management process

  • Manage contractor performance, cost and quality whilst fostering strong relationships with our providers

  • Input and maintain data and work orders in SAP (computerised maintenance management system)

  • Drive improvement in the site's Health Safety and Environment (HSE) performance through safety meetings, Safety interactions and Visual Engaging leadership.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport and work through problems with contractors

  • Be organized, self-driven, and possess excellent time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing contractor performance and scope/cost creep

  • Energy and tenacity to support delivery of plans and scheduled works while maintaining engagement with key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others through engaging leadership

  • Strong computer literacy to be able to plan, schedule and scope works

  • A passion for continuous improvement and confidence to speak-up about new ideas and ways of improving processes/cost savings etc.
