About the Role
Daunia Mine are currently recruiting passionate individuals into permanent roles in our Blast team. We believe that people are the key to our continued success; having the right people working within our organisation at all levels will allow us to become the safest, most productive mine site we can be and sustain our operations well into the future.
Roles will be Fly-in-Fly-Out & Drive-In-Drive-Out based at BMA’s Daunia Mine Site, near Moranbah, Central Queensland on a 7/7 Roster.
About You
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- A genuine commitment to safety
- Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
- Motivated, enthusiastic individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
- Current blast crew experience with significant open-cut mining experience (minimum 3 years)
- QLD explosive security clearance and Shotfirers Licence mandatory
- Minimum C Class Driver’s licence required
- HR/MR, High risk/forklift, loader, stem truck, MPU and skid steer highly regarded.
- Leadership courses, S1, 2,3 & G2 also highly regarded.
- Demonstrated reading, writing and computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Passion for continuous improvement to drive individual and team performance
