Shovel Operator

Join the Tropicana team as an Experienced Shovel Operator and be responsible for operating a 600t Shovel and excavator in a production mining environment. This role requires a level of proficiency in operating different machinery to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

FIFO from Perth
2:1 night/day roster
$65.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
7% market uplift allowance - paid quarterly

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role in an open-cut mining environment
• Extensive experience operating 250 tonne+ excavators in production mode, preferably on one of the following
• CAT 6060 Face Shovel 
• Demonstrated experience operating variety of ancillary equipment and exacavtors
• Physically fit for the demands of the role
• Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
