Title: Shutdown Coordinator - Electrical
Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth (Wednesday to Wednesday)
Role overview:
To be successful, the shutdown team must work closely with other teams within the wider operation, and business to ensure the plant remains reliable, with an ongoing focus on safety and continuous improvement.
Your role will be to collaboratively work with internal stakeholders and our vendor partners, managing high volumes of maintenance tasks from planning through to execution, to ensure delivery of safe and successful shutdown campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan shutdown execution framework within a planning rhythm, working closely with asset owners, planning department and shutdown schedulers
- Develop resource requirements and engage vendor partners for all shutdown outages
- Manage asset reliability with maintenance tasks by engaging with the asset owners and planning against budgetary requirements
- Management of vendor resources ensuring safety of personnel, quality of work completed and managing completion against planned and scheduled maintenance
- Review and optimise shutdown scopes
- Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in between shutdowns and review HV plans to ensure they align with scope of work, and plan and manage plant power outages for shutdown maintenance works including commissioning and ramp up tasks
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in shutdowns and electrical maintenance in fixed plant processing facility coordinating and leading Trades, and a strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
- WA Electrical Trade Qualification is essential
- Strong supervisory experience and leadership skills and a proven commitment to safety
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of HV Switching plans
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems, SAP experience is desirable
