Shutdown Coordinator Electrical

Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Shutdown Superintendent, this role will be part of a team responsible for coordinating the safe execution of Iron Bridge fixed plant shutdowns. 

Key accountabilities will include:

• Delivery of effective shutdowns completed safely, on time and on budget
• Carrying out shutdown planning tasks in line with the 16W shutdown readiness cycle
• Supporting the current asset owners, focusing on the electrical scope and vendor partners
• Coordination of shutdown personnel
• Review and optimise shutdown scopes as part of the planning process
• Review HV plans to ensure they align with scope of work
• Plan and manage plant power outages for shutdown maintenance works
• Plan and coordinate commissioning and ramp up tasks
• Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in between shutdowns
• Conducting field interactions

Qualifications and skills required:

• Considerable experience in shutdowns and electrical maintenance in fixed plant processing coordinating and leading trades
• Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
• Electrical Trade Qualification
• WA Electrical License
• Strong supervisory experience and leadership skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven commitment to safety
• Have a strong understanding and knowledge of HV switching plans
• Have a strong understanding of instrumentation tech
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems
• SAP experience is desirable
