Shutdown Coordinator Electrical
Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Shutdown Superintendent, this role will be part of a team responsible for coordinating the safe execution of Iron Bridge fixed plant shutdowns.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Delivery of effective shutdowns completed safely, on time and on budget
- Carrying out shutdown planning tasks in line with the 16W shutdown readiness cycle
- Supporting the current asset owners, focusing on the electrical scope and vendor partners
- Coordination of shutdown personnel
- Review and optimise shutdown scopes as part of the planning process
- Review HV plans to ensure they align with scope of work
- Plan and manage plant power outages for shutdown maintenance works
- Plan and coordinate commissioning and ramp up tasks
- Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in between shutdowns
- Conducting field interactions
Qualifications and skills required:
- Considerable experience in shutdowns and electrical maintenance in fixed plant processing coordinating and leading trades
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale processing plant
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- WA Electrical License
- Strong supervisory experience and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven commitment to safety
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of HV switching plans
- Have a strong understanding of instrumentation tech
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and computerised maintenance management systems
- SAP experience is desirable
