Shutdown Scheduler - Residential Position
Work Location: Hedland Operations - Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 4D/3R Residentially in Port Hedland
As the Shutdown Scheduler you will be required to develop and manage all shutdown scheduling activities for multiple Inload and Out loading circuits across the FMG Anderson Point Port facility.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Review maintenance work orders within the CMMS shutdown revisions for scope accuracy, also leading communications with key stakeholders, maintenance coordinators, engineering/reliability departments, operations, maintenance vendors
- Assist engineering and reliability department with project design, review and execution
- Optimise efficiency within the schedule through problem solving and field knowledge to ensure work is scheduled in the most efficient and safe manner possible
- Assist in continuous improvement of information and processes for information management and tools including planning, scheduling and other shutdown processes and standards
- Develop and maintain master schedules with SAP – MSP software integration
- Create and execute schedule baseline verses actual tracking, communicating progress reports during execution phase, evaluating critical path tasks, working closely with shutdown coordinators and area team leads to determine lagging and problem areas, recommending remedial actions to resolve any deviations from planned activities
- Assist in the identification of long range shutdown deliverables and key checkpoints for the planning and scheduling cycle
Qualifications and skills required
- Minimum Requirement - Trade Qualified
- Residential based position
- Competent in the use of MS Office Suite – (MS project, Excel, Visio and Word)
- 3+ years shutdown Maintenance Planning or Supervisor experience in mineral processing plant
- Strong background in fixed plant maintenance and Iron Ore production processes.
- Demonstrated experience in shutdown scheduling processes and execution.
- Experience with CMMS - SAP application highly regarded.
