Nickel West Mt Keith is located in the northern region of the Goldfields. Mt Keith Village which is approximately 80 kilometres north of Leinster

About the Role
Reporting to the Manager NPI, you will play an integral role by being responsible for the Facilities Maintenance at Mt Keith FIFO Village including:
- Responsible for the Facilities Maintenance team looking after 1600 SPQ rooms, mess, wetmess and Village based infrastructure.
- Responsible for a team of varying backgrounds and skillsets (Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Plumbing etc.
- Co-ordinate and manage a number of improvement projects across the diverse asset infrastructure.
- Provide technical support, guidance and assistance to the FM electrical execution team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of care
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have had exposure at leading a diverse high performing team at a Superintendent level or above. Alternately those with strong Supervisory experience in a similar field may be considered. You will have outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels including senior management.
- Full Electrical Trade Certificate (including valid WA Electrical Workers Licence) or a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) is high desirable
- A current C class driver’s license
- Competency in the areas of people management, decision marking and change management
- Proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to solve problems in a constantly changing environment.
- Project Management experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience or an understanding of the requirements of being a “Minor Network Operator” and dealing with Regulators.
- Previous experience or an understanding of the requirements associated with being a High Voltage Operator (HVO) and SHVO would be highly advantageous.
- Experience as an Electrical Nominee or appointment as an Appointed Electrical Supervisor (MSIR) is highly desirable
