About the role:  We are currently seeking Site Services Personnel at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture.  Our Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of three (3) open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverised coal (LV-PCI) for export markets.

Reporting to the Pumps and Site Services Supervisor, the scope of your role will be to conduct general facilities maintenance and property improvements. Self motivated and highly organised person required to scope, organise and complete projects across multiple locations at the CMJV.

Duties will include:

• Building maintenance and repairs
• Grounds keeping
• General facilities maintenance
• Services installs/trenching/excavation
• Site access road maintenance and repairs

The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 7 Day on and 7 Day off roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or salary sacrificed FIFO lifestyle.  Employees living residentially may have access to a housing allowance.

About you:

• Minimum C class license
• Trade qualified carpenter or equivalent handy-man experience
• Experience with Civil/Ancillary earthmoving equipment
• Flexibility with tasks and duties

Competency in operating the following equipment will be highly regarded:

• Small excavators
• Backhoes/skid-steer
• Tilt tray truck
