The Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal Social Performance the purpose of this role is focused on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Social Performance to:

• Create value in the communities where we operate and make a positive contribution to society
• Develop collaborative and transparent relationships with host communities
• Identify and manage social and human rights impacts and risk associated with our activities
• Measure, evaluate and report on our Social Performance internally and externally

Accountabilities 

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Manage social performance systems and improvement initiatives including the Stakeholder Relationship Management System and Social Investment application, evaluation and reporting systems
• Support implementation of the Social Performance Framework and associated measurement and reporting
• Support the Social Performance Strategy by conducting research, managing communication, and analysing and presenting data to inform strategic planning and decision making at a group level
• Monitor and report against Reconciliation Action Plan commitments and metrics to support internal and external reporting
• Implement the Australia employee matched giving program

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or similar
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role ideally within a large, multinational corporate organisation in the resources sector
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to autonomously source, process and interpret data
• An ability to understand and analyse work and business systems and develop improvement initiative
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve business integration and excellence in project
• Experience in social investment impact measurement and reporting
• Broad knowledge of international social performance trends and developments

Location

This role will be based at our corporate office in the heart of Perth CBD views.
