About the role
We are looking for a Specialist – Business Applications to engage with the business to understand business requirements and translate these into functional requirements for delivery.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in business analysis and project governance within a large and varied application portfolio.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Business Applications, and working in challenging and exciting environment within our global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Operations Team, you will:
- Facilitate business requirement workshops to gather and document business requirements, objectives to business problems and then work with technical teams to define solution design by evaluating options to deliver business objectives.
- Maintain a high level of engagement with multiple customers, IS&T teams to ensure that project and Support and initiatives are tracked and managed to completion.
- Performs a quality assurance role for information management deployments; enhancements.
- Provide business advice in relation to change requests, improvements, customisations and maintaining system integrity.
- Provide project assurance through quality review of technical and selected project management deliverables including system architecture documentation, data migration strategies, system administration and operating guidelines.
- Transition Business Applications from project to production through collaborative engagement of external and internal service providers. This involves negotiating and optimising support models and maintenance agreements, vendor management and providing guidance with the Service Transition to Support process and deliverables.
- Identify new business problems and work with relevant IS&T teams to find and implement solutions.
- Document and maintain existing information management use cases for common applications across the business.
