Specialist – Asset Integrity

We are currently seeking an experienced Specialist – Asset Integrity to join our growing team. You will be based in our Osbourne Park office and can expect travel to various sites, this role will be permanent.

The purpose of this role is to review Emeco site maintenance processes and strategies; to ensure alignment with the equipment strategy and reliability improvement processes.

The primary focus of this role is to conduct site-based audits that identify gaps and key improvement initiatives that will enable site/s to achieve Emeco’s goal of being the leading provider of low-cost mid-life equipment.    

The Position 

  • The Specialist – Asset Integrity is responsible to review of asset performance of the Western Australian fleet
  • Review weekly fleet performance reports and investigate assets operating below standard.  
  • Conduct Emeco site audits that includes workshop condition and layout, Parts storage, both inventory and backlog, tooling, and storage
  • Identify the root cause of low life component failures that are attributed to Operation or Maintenance or Design issues and support site-based initiatives to mitigate
  • Monitor OEM updates and recommendations and communicate with the Fleet Performance Manager relevant information that will improve the reliability of the Emeco fleet
  • Recommend strategy updates to ensure lowest component costs per SMU across lifecycle.

We are looking for 

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering / related discipline or a nationally recognised mechanical trade qualification is strongly desirable
  • Natural curiosity to improve, understand and make a difference every day
  • Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu.
  • Demonstrated experience in reliability analysis.
  • High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships
