About the Role

The Specialist Asset Management is a key role, globally driving the synergies between multiple BHP operations, functions, and Assets. This role will ensure that the gaps identified across sites during the Asset Management Assessment are prioritised alongside stakeholders to close the gaps. You will utilize innovative approaches, tools, and technology to add real value to our teams – setting new standards to guide improvement activity, transforming services, and supporting our people.

Reporting to the Lead Asset Management, this role will be involved in the Global deployment of BHP Asset Management System ensuring identified gaps are prioritised and closed alongside stakeholders. This role will ensure that we deliver quality improvements across Assets, Sites & Functions. Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication, feedback, and consultation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Provide specialist support with the deployment of Asset Management System (AMS) and providing expertise and support to Assets, sites, and other stakeholders
  • Undertake review of AMS assessment reports and work with stakeholders to define and implement improvement plans.
  • Work with project manager and regional leads to develop engagement strategy for site engagement and stakeholder mapping for deployment as well as resolve issues and challenges.
  • Provide advice in the field of Asset Management to support the delivery of assigned improvement projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships and collaborate with the business and senior executives to support the successful of delivery of assigned project (s) objectives and deliverables.
  • Support in the quality deliverables and timely delivery of project and reports.
  • Facilitate workshops.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Asset Management System.
  • Strong participation as a vital member of the team in area of safety and BOS.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills.
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members to lift capacity and capability.
  • Knowledge of ISO55000 and the application of Asset Management Systems and Framework is highly regarded.
  • Proven track record of exceptional change management implementation skills across multiple locations and regions.
  • Ability to manage though influence at multiple organisational levels and interface.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business process & management system.

Location

In this Fixed-Term (12 months) position with opportunity to extend to 24 months, there are vacancies to be filled in three of our Australia’s corporate office in Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. You will be working on Monday-Friday roster while flexible working is also offered. Regular site visit will also require in this role.
