About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the BMA Technical Training Team in a Brisbane based role.
Reporting to Manager BMA Technical Training you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and governance of traineeships across the BMA assets.
In this role you will:
- Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition, Workforce Readiness, HR and management during workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding of trainees.
- Establish the supporting traineeship program content, built around a strong foundation of safety and self-development.
- Develop trainee training plans with RTOs, across a variety of qualifications, utilizing funding where available.
- Develop a structured end to end traineeship schedule for participants, including a Welcome event, regular check-ins and celebration of successful program completion.
- Review the success of the program and continually look for opportunities to improve, through developed business practices and activities.
This role is working a 5:2 roster and supportive of flexible working options.
About You
The following attributes and qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers of the organization.
- Organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of coal mining operations primarily in the overburden and coal mining space
- Experience and understanding of the partnership between trainee, employer, SRTO and Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN)
- Proven ability to design and deliver programs for new entry pathways, maintaining safety, compliance and performance.
