About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Change Management to join our Resource Development team. This is a great opportunity to showcase and develop your change management and business improvement skills working across the diverse portfolios within Resource Development. You will be coaching the business improvement framework, using a developed methodology, and facilitating execution of business improvement initiatives from scoping to deployment, and supporting sustainability.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work Monday to Friday based in Perth which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Superintendent Business Governance, you will be:
- Proactively owning Resource Development’s business improvement framework and program manage high value initiatives with project leads from scoping, deployment planning, execution, tracking improvements and post-implementation sustainability and review.
- Facilitating and leading high value initiatives in each department, using recognised business improvement methodologies.
- Implementing our business improvement methodologies and best practices to drive operational excellence and enhance business performance.
- Coaching and influencing initiative leads to deliver results quickly and with maximum value.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and efficiency gains and synthesise options for management decision.
- Utilising data-driven insights and metrics to measure progress, track performance, and demonstrate the impact / value of improvement initiatives.
- Leading and facilitating cross-functional workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive organisational change.
- Providing expert guidance, mentorship, and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in change management and business process improvement and incorporate relevant insights into organisational strategies and initiatives.
- Creating a culture of sustainable improvement.
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black belt), Kaizen, or an alternate business improvement methodology
- Workshop facilitation or coaching experience.
- Project Management experience with excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage timelines.
- A curious mindset.
- Be an inquisitive and innovative team-orientated professional.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of business improvement methodologies used to identify, analyse, and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of business processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within an organisation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, build consensus, and drive results in a collaborative environment.
