About the Role
The Specialist, Commercial – Fleet Decarbonisation is a key commercial advisor for BHP’s global fleet decarbonisation program. This role is responsible for working in a team to support the development and execution of commercial strategy, strategic supplier negotiations and program management related to fleet decarbonisation.
- Support the development and negotiation of strategic commercial agreements with vendors in relation to decarbonisation
- Actively engage and influence multiple regional stakeholder groups
- Draw insights from various data points and consolidate into clear and concise materials
- Facilitate cross functional workshops and engagements
About You
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence both external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in highly complex and ambiguous circumstances to deliver an optimised commercial outcome for BHP
- Critical thinker with the ability to overcome roadblocks and develop innovative commercial strategies with support
- Support complex global negotiations with strategic vendors
- Ability to work across multiple time zones globally
- Background in mobile mining equipment procurement is advantageous but not essential
