About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist Contract Management to join a technically motivated and results-driven team.

You will be responsible for providing technical support, governance and training for contractor management and supporting the NPI Contractor Management Framework, and daily management of the delivery of all village accommodation contracts (3rd -party and BMA-owned villages), housing contractors and off contract scopes. 

This role is offered on a 5:2 (Mon-Fri) roster and offers flexible travel arrangements to the right candidate.

Reporting to the Superintendent Accommodation Ops you will be accountable for:

  • Monitor contract adherence to ensure both contactor & site personnel comply with all terms & conditions of the contract.
  • Maintaining a constructive and healthy relationship with the service providers
  • Manage compliance of mobilisation and demobilisation of service contracts
  • Lead the monitoring & reporting of contract deliverables and KPI’s.
  • Audit verification of scopes and CMP across all townships
  • Manage and support relevant computer programs related to contract management
  • Perform and coordinate reporting for Management to ensure they are continuously informed and updated.
  • Third party village and contactor workforce contract review and monitoring.
  • Quarterly business review of third-party villages and BMA village portfolio.
  • Completion of performance of control verification activities (CCV) and manage non-conformances.
  • Leading safety observations, actions and audits in field.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Pragmatic commercial outlook and exemplary judgement to deliver best outcome
  • Strong understanding of Contractor Management Frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with administration and management of contracts
  • Experience with SAP desirable
  • Collaborative mind-set and advanced interpersonal skills
  • Highly capable in building constructive long term relationships
  • Ability to think laterally to independently resolve issues and influence change
  • Autonomous, detail oriented, organised, and objective
  • Identify risks and appropriate control options
  • Driver’s license is mandatory
