We are seeking a Specialist Contractor Management to drive governance and maturity of our contractor management capability and performance across our Brockman sites.

Reporting to Manager Operational Excellence, you will govern the safety, regulatory and commercial systems supporting contractor management across our Brockman sites. This role also coaches and collaborates with internal teams and contract partners to #findbetterways to deliver value and positively influence the future of our ports, partners and communities.

Key duties include:

  • Coach and upskill Contractor Management Supervisors through in-field leadership;
  • Work closely with Procurement and Central Contractor Management team to drive contractor management system and process maturity, identifying opportunities to improve sourcing or contracting arrangements and maximise value;
  • Drive continuous improvement in contractor safety maturity and Safety Maturity Model contractor integration;
  • Monitor operational performance of key contracting partners and support effective partnerships through regular supplier performance reviews, walk the contracts, Operational Partnership Meetings, and Vendor Safety Resets;
  • Collaborate with Contractor Management network to share and adopt best practices;
  • Reporting and data analysis for contractor related metrics;
  • Demonstrate excellence in teamwork, partnership, communication, and stakeholder management.

  • Exposure to contract management in mining operations, procurement and/or project management will be viewed favourably;
  • Experience in process improvement, project leadership and change management will be viewed favourably;
  • Qualifications in Commerce or related discipline will be beneficial.
