About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Customer Engagement to lead the billing and account management services team for Pilbara Utilities.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to engage with RTIO Senior leaders, RTIO Communities, local government, State Government Regulators and Utilities frontline Ops leaders. You will build an effective working relationship within the team & peers across the broader Rio Tinto and with a wide range of external contractors and stakeholders and work closely with internal / external stakeholders on delivering operational management of the customer billing and account management services.

Reporting to the Superintendent Business Services, and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will be:

  • Engage closely with key stakeholders to ensure Utilities billing and account management services are compliant with internal / external policies and government regulations
  • Responsible for Utilities billing and account management services activities from strategic planning through to execution, delivery, implementation and review
  • Supporting the Customer Services team in the implementation of improvement initiatives as part of Utilities’ continuous improvement culture
  • Ensure business strategies align with organisational goals with a ‘partner to operate’ focus
  • Play a key role in the billing services’ operational decisions and strategy implementation

  • Tertiary qualifications in an internationally recognised degree in either Business, Commerce, Economics, or a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience

Where you’ll be working

The role will be based in Perth at both the Operations Centre, with flexible working from home arrangements. Our state-of-the-art Operations Centre (OC) located near the Perth domestic airport, operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, power and ports. It enables all our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location, optimising site activities from 1,500km away.
