About the Role
We work flexibly across many global locations in BHP. For this role, our preferred locations are our Brisbane or Perth with a mix of office and work from home. We’re looking for someone who can bring two worlds together, speaking authentically with our Finance customers and then translating and driving delivery through Technology solutions. You’ll be a quick problem solver and able to adapt to changing context and business needs.
As a trusted collaborator with the Finance community, you’ll have strong connectivity to the Finance Function supporting their digital transformation. Your engaging style and great technical skills will allow you to connect with the Finance community to deliver consistently stable IT systems, but with a longer-term view to improving value to BHP.
About You
You will have an overriding focus on safety, wellbeing and a culture of care for the wider team. Your attitude, passion and communication skills are the most important component of this role. The successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Develop application roadmaps and strategies to optimise the Finance IT environment.

- Adapt to an exciting and ever changing landscape.
In preparing you for this role, you may have some or extensive exposure to:
- Completing IT business analysis deliverables
- Delivering IT solutions using Agile, DevOps methodologies.
- Developing and supporting IT applications and systems.
- Training in Accounting and\or Finance.
