About the Role
Our Global BHP Technology function is undergoing an exciting transformation journey and moving towards more modern ways of working. Be part of a global DevOps team that partner with our Operations, Digital Factories, Centers of Excellence & Functions to drive improvement and innovation in safety, culture, productivity, and social value through the application of world-class technology.
As part of the Enterprise & Global Corporate Functions Technology team, you will report directly to the Platform Lead for Collaboration & ECM Platforms, and will act as an SME in the DevOps team supporting operational stability, execution of governance tasks and processes, small development changes and project activities for BHP’s Non-ERP Platforms including Microsoft SharePoint and Documentum. This role is based in Perth or Brisbane.
In this role, your key accountabilities will include:
- Acting as an SME within the portfolio and working with the partner teams on new requirements and business cases, prioritisation of demand, reviewing designs for small changes, and providing functional or technical advice.
- Ensuring the operational support and stability of the Applications and Platforms within the portfolio, in conjunction with our strategic partners, including escalations and transparent reporting to internal customers.
- Being embedded into project activities to ensure that requirements for operational supportability are adhered to for new applications and project service transitions to the relevant offshore team.
- Working with partner teams to ensure correct prioritisation and balancing of work across the DevOps team.
About You
- At least 5+ years relevant Technology experience with a Fortune 100 organisation and/or consulting environment
- Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft365 and OpenText’s Documentum Platform or similar Enterprise Content Management product
- High level of business analysis experience and strong customer engagement skills
- Experience managing service providers and vendors in an outsourced environment
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving issues to resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, influencing skills and relationship building skills
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to effectively work in a diverse and globally dispersed virtual team environment
