About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Dust Assets to join the Maintenance Planning and Engineering team.
This is a great opportunity to lead the business direction, management and improvement of dust assets across the Iron Ore portfolio to enable improved health, environmental and communities outcomes.
Reporting to the Principal Engineering Services and working in a collaborative team environment, you will be responsible for:
- Development of maintenance strategies for dust assets;
- Enhancement and management of associated engineering standards;
- Development and execution of dust asset strategy including supporting capital planning;
- Active involvement in the business dust mitigation working group;
- Technical support for the dust assets maintenance contract;
- Supporting existing operations with technical assistance, guidance and governance;
- Support greenfields and brownfields projects with technical assurance and governance;
- Raise the awareness of the importance of dust assets throughout the business;
- Maintain awareness of changing dust asset technologies and their application.
About You
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team;
- Tertiary qualification of Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent;
- A Current "C Class " WA Driver’s license;
- An ability to convert technical knowledge into practical instruction;
- Demonstrable experience in whole-of-life asset management;
- Strong interpersonal skills, including good oral and written skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, able to build relationships with partners in a complex, matrix organisation;
- Strong ability to positively influence people in an organisation;
- Experience in dust assets and/or ventilation systems is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working in a mining operation is not essential – we appreciate asset management experience gained through other industries.

Where you’ll be working
Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location. The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible.
Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, and ports from 1,500km away.
