We are looking for a Specialist Medical Emergency Services to join our Emergency Services team to support our various mining operations in the Pilbara on a 5/2 4/3 FIFO roster. In this role you will provide technical advice for pre-hospital care / clinical and general medical.

Reporting to the Principal Emergency Services and Security you will be responsible for:
- Development and maintenance of medical governance documentation in consultation with relevant stakeholders including the Poisons Permit Holder and Occupational
- Responsible for scope of practice and medications authorisations: ERT members and Emergency Services team members (includes Cat 1/3 contracting partners)
- Ensuring current best practice, benchmarked, aligned with changes in training protocols, equipment and fleet updates as required across all operations
- Providing medical advice and technical support to our operations
- Support business stakeholders with trusted advice in the ongoing assessment and improvement of medical response and services
- Reviewing and monitoring associated medical data- training compliance, Cority, stock management, equipment checks compliance, responses
- Auditing and support case reviews with the Permit holder
- Focused on risks, strategy, improvement and advancements, engagement and stakeholder management and
- Engage regularly with key internal and external stakeholders

- Specialist knowledge and practical experience in:
- Pre-hospital care, clinical experience and remote medicine
- Medical legislation and governance requirements
- St John, RFDS, WACHS, DoH, Aeromedical
- Mine Emergency Response
- Training frameworks
- Work collaboratively in a small team and effectively with all stakeholders
- Lead through influence
- Emergency Services ethos of ‘We Not Me’
- Systems (SAP, Cority, MS365 Suite), document writing, research and reporting
- APHRA Registration / Medical qualifications
- Current National Police
