About the Role

This is a global role operating in an Enterprise environment providing an efficient, reliable and optimised capability for the Enterprise & Global Team. The role is focused upon operational stability, technical support for the business and projects and maintaining a standardised and secure environment that enables BHP to achieve business objectives.

Core accountabilities for the role includes:

  • Responsible for maintenance and operation of Endpoint Security tools across servers and workstations in IT / OT environments to ensure an efficient, reliable and productive user experience,
  • Validation of security tools and parameters
  • Policy finetuning and process optimisation
  • Align with Security Best Practices and standards
  • Builds long-term, strategic relationships with Technology, vendors and business stakeholders,
  • Develop & maintain the service catalogue,
  • Provide technical support to projects, Security and support teams,
  • Identify and assist in the development of automation opportunities and reporting,
  • Initiates, develops, and monitors effective performance management processes,
  • Assist in the design and implementation of compliant solutions to meet business demand,
  • Accountable for the creation and maintenance of blueprints and maintenance plans,
  • Manages the development of policies and strategies to ensure performance measures are benchmarked and reported,
  • Provide technical direction and input for the EUC Roadmap and 90-day plans to support the Technology strategy

About You

The EUC Endpoint Security role will have good technical experience in implementing, monitoring and supporting of some of the following:

  • Endpoint Protection (with anti-virus)
  • Data Protection (data loss, discovery, encryption and classification)
  • Information Rights Management
  • Structured Data Protection (for databases)
  • Cloud/SASE Security and
  • Vulnerability Management

Qualifications & Certifications 

  • Tertiary education (TAFE or University) or industry experience
  • CISSP Certificate or Other relevant Security certification (desirable)
  • AWS / Azure Cloud Certification or experience (desirable)
  • Agile Foundations certification or experience (desirable)

Experience & Technical Competencies 

  • Demonstrated experience in the IT industry
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing, monitoring and supporting endpoint protection tools for OnPrem or Cloud including OT environments
  • Familiar with Cloud Security or NIST framework
  • Demonstrated ability to work with third party vendors and contractors
  • Knowledge in applying Agile
