ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a Permanent position, 40hrs per week, on a 9-day fortnight or Mon–Thu with flexible work arrangements, at our Boddington Bauxite Mine reporting to the Environmental Supervisor.

Please note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Boddington. A free bus service operates daily from Mandurah and Armadale.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of environmental programs and compliance activities at Worsley Alumina, contributing to strong environmental outcomes across our South-West WA operations.

 Key deliverables for the role are, but aren’t limited to:

  • Assisting with environmental monitoring programs & data review
  • Supporting teams with environmental compliance & reporting
  • Liaising with contractors & consultants under supervision
  • Helping maintain accurate environmental records & systems

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

  • Building collaborative relationships across diverse teams
  • Applying initiative and curiosity in solving environmental challenges
  • Organising your time and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge in water, air and noise monitoring and management
  • Communicating clearly—both in writing and when working with others

Qualifications for this position are: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Ecology/Environmental Science/ Land Management or related disciplines.
