About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Stewardship and Integration within the Environment Approvals and Biodiversity Team for Western Australian Iron Ore (WAIO), you will be part of the team responsible for managing the delivery of environmental approvals scheduling and planning across the WAIO portfolio. You will be based in our Perth Office. Flexible work options will be considered.
This is a full-time, two-year fixed term contract.
In this role you will

Develop State and Federal environmental approval schedules covering an agreed scope from initial baseline surveys through to delivery of approval, forecasting activities to agreed baselines and milestones;

Facilitate effective delivery of WAIO environmental approvals schedules across integrated teams within the business;

Manage schedule data to ensure it is delivered, checked and incorporated into relevant project schedules and integrated external approvals schedules to agreed dates on a monthly basis;

Maintain agreed baselines, tracking variance to baseline, including introduction of new or amended scopes;

Monitor the impact of changes and identifies trends and corrective/preventative actions to influence on-time delivery of the agreed baselines and milestones;

Provide strategic, tactical and technical environmental approvals scheduling advice to approvals and project teams;

Create and maintain probability ranging schedule templates (P10, P50, P90), based on most recent environmental approval benchmarking timeframes;

Conduct schedule risk analysis and resource planning analysis;

Coordinate internal team reporting required to meet business planning routines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience within a scheduling and planning role for a minimum of five years;
- Proficient in Primavera P6 software;
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills;
- Ability to build consultative and influential relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business needs;
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills;
- Capable of interpreting and meeting WAIO standards;
- Some experience with State and Federal environmental approvals scheduling within the resources industry, in particular the Western Australian iron ore industry would be highly regarded.
