About the role

We are looking for a Specialist ERP Operations to take responsibility for leading installations, upgrades and support of all components of the SAP landscape.

This role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the architecture design of the SAP systems and provide guidance to the teams on SAP best practice. Reporting to the Principal Advisor – Technical Operations, you will:

• Maintain platform health, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, resilient, and cost effective.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert with our support teams and partners, focused on technical aspects of our SAP systems.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimise our services and customer experience.
• Provide input into the 1–3-year roadmap for all SAP products.
• Lead and manage support and delivery outcomes with our service delivery partners.
• Responsible for oversight and governance of Service Levels & Key Measures for technical operation.
• Perform maintenance and project activities on a as needed basis.
• Management of critical and high priority incidents affecting the business to ensure ongoing continuity of business systems in Rio Tinto.
• Ensure all change and release align with Rio Tinto change management standards to ensure compliance.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• Successful track record in delivering support services to customers on SAP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ERP solutions, particularly SAP.
• Strong ability to follow processes and standards as part of undertaking role.
• Experience managing changes to large and complex ERP solutions.
• Experience in supporting SAP in cloud environment, specifically Azure.
• Knowledge of Change and Release practices for Application delivery and support.
• Experience delivering outcomes as part of a cross-functional group, using onshore/offshore delivery model and with external delivery partners.

 It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Suitable and relevant Bachelor Degree
• ITIL Foundation
