About the Role
Nickel West is one of the most sustainable nickel producers in the world and the world's leading nickel supplier to the battery metals market. Our nickel is essential to a decarbonising world and Nickel West has a global advantage in the sustainable production of nickel.
Reporting to the Manager Asset Integrity you will provide technical input and Governance output to the Fatality elimination program of works for NiW.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide overarching Governance and Assurance for the NiW Fatality Elimination Program
- Provide reporting and visibility on program progress
- Collaborating with operational teams identifying program improvement opportunities and align
- outcomes
- Engaging with Global and Asset functions to ensure best practice is shared and replicated
- Monitors the status of all FEL actions throughout the program lifecycle, including strong linkage to Risk management process
This role is based in Perth and offers flexibility in working locations
About You
- Relevant experience managing programs of work
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, allowing you to influence, while also enabling you to build relationships across departments and to communicate with disciplines at all levels
- Strong process thinking with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions
- Strong Stakeholder engagement skills & the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and disciplines across the business
- Experience in Risk Management, HSE systems and work management preferred
