About the role 

We are looking for a Specialist Fieldwork. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring fieldwork programs are delivered safely. Here you will also be responsible for fieldwork safety, incident management and ensuring that the Heritage team are adequately resourced and have the required in-field support.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor Fieldwork, you will:  

  • Identify short term logistic requirements for the heritage fieldwork program 

  • Early forecasting of people capacity constraints and recommendations to enable heritage fieldwork surveys 

  • Manage asset and fleet utilization, ensure vehicles are adequately equipped with safety gear to manage remote working risk 

  • Support identification of synergies and best practice for heritage fieldwork across all areas of RTIO 

  • Lead, develop and review fieldwork safety and incident management procedures 

  • Lead risk assessment workshops to ensure risks associated with work programs are adequately managed 

What you’ll bring   

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills 

  • Capacity to organise, track and manage several activities and issues at any given time 

  • Safety leadership and knowledge 

  • HSEC standards and procedure knowledge 

  • Risk management experience

This role will be on a FIFO roster from Perth to Karratha - with 8 days on, 6 days off.
