About the Role
The Operations Service Finance Team have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Finance Planning and Reporting. This role will assist the team in providing timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis to Operations Services for decision-making.

You will work collaboratively with your team and key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis as well as insightful commentary to enable decision making. Key accountabilities include:
• Preparation and analysis of the 5 Year Plan and 2 Year Budget as well as periodic forecasting • End of month reporting and analysis • Driving continuous improvement through standardisation and technology • Works with Finance Business Partners to collect and process inputs to 5YP, 2YB and quarterly forecasts, focusing on driving performance to benchmarks • Analyses outputs of 5YP, 2YB and quarterly forecasts for variability and improvement opportunities. • Supporting Finance in continuously improving it effectiveness through integrated fit-for purpose analysis. • Supporting the function in delivering data driven solutions to improve the businesses operation and financial performance. • Confidently present ideas, results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Location Brisbane or Perth based role.
Flexible work arrangement with a hybrid of working from home and office.
About You
The below represents advantageous skills and attributes for the role. Please do not feel as though you need to satisfy all of the criteria in order to apply. • Degree qualified in Commerce/Finance or similar discipline is desirable, with CA or CPA certification highly regarded. • Management accounting background is advantageous, with emphasis on month-end analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting; • Willingness to embrace technology, and an appetite for data analytics to craft a performance story; • Technical strengths will be complemented by an adaptable and team-spirited approach; • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders to gain valuable business insight and deliver meaningful commentary; • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint; and • Experience with SAP/BI/BFS/Spotfire/BOBJ an advantage
