We are looking for a Specialist – ICT Mobility Operations to join our growing Mobility Technology team within our IS&T function. As a technical SME you will be involved with the design, upgrade, and enhancement to ICT Mobility systems globally. You will be the key contact for teams to approach for any vendor, platforms, tools and support teams problems or blockers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about modern technology, with the ability to drive the continuing improvement of the workplace technology environment.
Working with a collaborative team and reporting to the Principal Advisor – Modern Workplace, you will:
- Provide technical expertise across the core infrastructure technology stack for ICT Mobility, including Mobile Device Management (Intunes), Applications, and Connectivity.
- Work closely with support teams (onshore\offshore) to ensure resolution of incidents and problems are optimal.
- Assist Projects with technical system integration activities as required.
- Continuously iterate better ICT Mobility experiences by improving ICT Mobility adoption components (Process, Technology and Up-skill people)
- Ensure ICT Mobility teams are equipped with the right resources and tools to operate smoothly. This can include requesting licenses for tools for development teams to utilize or external platform permissions to be given to users in the field.
- Help shaping the long-term goals of ICT Mobility and understanding the OKRs, metrics and strategy frameworks in place for the ICT Mobility team, to ensure delivery teams are aligned with them and guided correctly to achieve them.
- Be responsible for analysing solution and delivery reports, reviewing operating teams’ performance to see if metrics and other success indicators are being met (qualitative/quantitative) by ICT Mobility standards.
- Ensure the Mobility team runs smoothly through managing dependencies, escalating, and removing impediments with the support of senior leadership.
What you’ll bring
- Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Experience in ICT Mobility Enterprise Solutions
- Experience with deploying mobile devices Android/iOS
- Previous experience or exposure to Microsoft Intune
- Previous Experience in the integration and regression testing of systems and management of user acceptance testing
- Good knowledge in device management and technology
- Competent in using DevOps platforms such as ADO or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills in both business and technology space
It would also be beneficial if you have:
- Background in the deployment and operations for phones & tablets in Enterprise Business
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure/Cloud tech advantageous
- Network engineering experience and/or qualifications is advantageous
- Previous experience working or interacting with operations offshore
