About the Role

As a member of the Maintenance Improvement Team, you'll be part of a dynamic group of professionals focused on driving change and improving processes across the maintenance department. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, implement industry best practices, and drive a culture of continuous improvement that adds value and enhances efficiency. Your passion for change management and experience in leading improvement initiatives will be key to your success in this role.   While you will be reporting to the Maintenance Improvement Superintendent, your role will be working alongside key internal stakeholders to prioritise improvement initiatives at your site to achieve value added results and implement industry best practices.  

About You

You will possess strong engagement, influencing and collaboration skills to achieve high level outcomes within improvement team. What you will bring to the role:   

  • Create a culture of care, by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing, and coaching.

  • Ability to lead and deliver successful projects within a dynamic mining environment.

  • Have strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Analyse business process and tasks with focus on continuous improvement

  • Identify, standardise, simplify, and formalise core business process and systems.

  • Utilise your strong communication and collaboration skills to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

  • You will possess sound knowledge of continuous improvement and HME maintenance/engineering practices.

  • Tertiary or trade qualifications are desirable, however not essential.
