Olympic Dam is one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold, and uranium. Located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia, Olympic Dam is a part of our Minerals Australia operation. It's made up of underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.
About the Role

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Superintendent, you will possess genuine curiosity and an open mind to seek new solutions; have discipline around routines and standards; combined with a data-driven improvement mindset. This will enable you to drive continuous improvement with the frontline and sustainably embed our new ways of working.
Your Key Deliverables include:
- Continue to guide and work with relevant stakeholders to build, test and deploy practical solutions to improve work methods (i.e. tooling).
- Collaboratively problem solve, or facilitate and support problem solving sessions with the frontline to identify the root cause of problems
- Assists manage the improvement pipeline and capture improvements in our online portfolio
- Coach and support the frontline on implementing Standardise work (SW) and BOS tools and routines through role modelling, knowledge sharing, and training.
- Create new Standardised Work instructions, implement changes to existing SW instructions based on improvement feedback and process confirm SW execution
- Analyse, report and presentation of data to drive the continuous improvement pipeline.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- The ability to effectively identify opportunities to increase value and eliminate hazards, waste and variability.
- Technical/Engineering relevant qualification with demonstrated relevant working experience in large organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
- Ability to engage with all levels of the business from frontline employees to site leadership.
- Fast learning in an agile fast-paced environment.
- Analytical abilities and proficiency with excel highly regarded.

Location
In this full-time permanent position, you will be based at Roxy Downs and working on 8D6X roster. There are flexibility for FIFO or Residential options.
