About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of OS Line Engineer based within our Operations Services Maintenance team. Reporting directly to the OS Superintendent Maintenance, this role is responsible for the safety, standardisation and productivity related projects for the maintenance teams across OS. Your duties will include: •    Foster positive & productive working relationships and team culture •    Set and maintain clear safety standards within the leadership team •    Lead safety investigations and risk assessments •    Build capability through coaching, mentoring and provide technical advice and support OS maintenance supervisors •    Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities •    Experience with business improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, BOS or Lean Manufacturing, and use of data management and analysis tools would be highly beneficial.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following: •    Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence •    The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships •    Project Management and/or engineering experience is preferred, not essential •    Effectively identifying ways to eliminate hazards, waste and variability •    Experience on 1SAPhighly regarded on a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP)
