Job Responsibilities

Macmahon is looking for an experienced Inventory Specialist. This role focuses on continuous analysis of tyre stock levels to determine optimum stock holding across the business. 

About the role
 

  • With the Tyre Superintendent, develop and improve tools to determine optimum tyre stock holding quantities and location.
  • Develop and maintain tyre forecasts.
  • Review tyre stock holding across the company monthly and correct forecast as required.
  • Work with asset management and central planning team to ensure tyre quantities are adjusted for new equipment or changes to equipment/equipment utilisation across the sites.
  • Develop procedures/processes to ensure stocked items do not deteriorate or expire.

About you
 

  • Knowledge of large OTR tyres.
  • Advanced data analysis.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Expert Excel user.
  • Supply Chain knowledge and experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of SAP, especially S/4HANA (desirable).
  • Risk assessment knowledge and understanding (desirable).
