About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Organisational Change Management to provide OCM expertise across major projects within Pilbara Mines Operational Readiness. You will help safely prepare people and operations for project delivery, commissioning and handover by leading change impact analysis, organisational design, stakeholder engagement, communications and capability development
This role provides expertise and guidance in Organisational Change Management to safely prepare people and operations for project delivery, commissioning and handover by leading change impact analysis, organisational design, stakeholder engagement, communications and capability development activities while mentoring practitioners, influencing stakeholders and driving continuous improvement to achieve sustainable operational outcomes and project value.

Your work will directly support safe commissioning, operational handover, workforce readiness and sustainable project value.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Superintendent Organisational Change Management, you will work across Operations, Projects and Functional Partners to:
- Develop and implement project OCM plans covering stakeholder identification, change impacts, organisational design, communications, workforce readiness and capability development.
- Complete change impact analyses, evaluate actual impacts and assess the readiness of affected stakeholders.
- Engage and support operational leaders to build understanding of the case for change and enable them to lead their teams through transition.
- Support the application of the RTIO Management of Change process for relevant project changes, ensuring people, organisational and capability impacts are identified and addressed
- Lead stakeholder engagement and deliver clear, targeted change communications to impacted teams.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Capability Development, Talent Acquisition and operational leaders to support workforce planning, organisational design, training and competency requirements.
- Contribute OCM, workforce and capability activities to the Operational Readiness plan, schedule and budget.
- Identify, assess and manage people and organisational readiness risks, ensuring risks and actions are appropriately recorded, monitored and escalated.
- Assess, schedule and cost capability development activities required for commissioning, handover and operational ramp-up.
- Track and report OCM progress, readiness milestones, capability activities and risks to plan.
- Capture and apply lessons learned to improve OCM practices and Operational Readiness outcomes across projects.
- Mentor and support Operational Readiness practitioners while contributing to consistent OCM methods, tools and practices.

Required for Success
- A strong commitment to safety and to demonstrating care, courage and curiosity in every interaction.
- Experience leading organisational change management within mining, resources, major projects or another operationally complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience in change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, organisational design, communications and workforce or capability readiness.
- Ability to influence and support operational leaders through complex organisational and operational change.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Experience identifying and managing people, organisational readiness and change-related risks.
- Ability to develop practical change plans, work packages, schedules, budgets and progress reporting.
- Sound understanding of project delivery, commissioning, handover and operational readiness environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Projects, Human Resources, Communications, Capability Development and other functional partners.
- Experience planning and managing OCM workstreams, including scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, milestones and reporting.
Helpful for Success
- Experience in facilitation and negotiation.
- Tertiary qualifications in this field, for example, Project Management and Change Management.
- Mining knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Where you’ll be working
This opportunity is offered on a fly in fly out 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off arrangement.
