About the Role

The specialist Onboarding Monitors all supporting processes and identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves upstream and downstream risks and issues relating to on-boarding activities for new starters (front line, support team, corporate office).

This role is based in Perth Office, with occasional site travel as required.

In addition to the above, this position will also:

  • Participate and contribute to routine Operational Readiness activities. Highlight and escalate quickly where there is a risk to site readiness.
  • Arrange Personal Protective Equipment, ensuring it meets role and site requirements.
  • Procure and coordinate all IT equipment and access including the set-up of mobile devices and maintenance of the asset register and accounts.
  • Work closely with training and resource deployment teams to ensure training and accommodation is booked and communicated to new starters within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide regular reporting on the status of onboarding activities for each deployment. Highlight action required where there is a risk to operational readiness, proactively working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve.
  • Facilitate building inductions and site access across various assets.  
  • Identify and request site access exemptions where required and coordinate actions to resolve access issues, ensuring deployment leads are informed.  ·Develop sustainable on-boarding processes for both frontline teams and support teams.

About You

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels
  • Experience in Mining operations and training qualification (desirable)
  • Developing and documenting work instructions and process mapping
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain collaborative and inclusive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft forms and flow, Visio, and SAP (desirable)
