The Opportunity - Permanent, Full Time or Part Time Position – 3 days per week

The Culture and Capability team partners with the business and external vendors to design global frameworks, processes, systems and tools which support and uplift organisational capability across South32 globally. 

As the Specialist Organisational Capability, you will work closely with the Manager Organisational Capability to design, implement, and continuously improve organisational capability projects across the end-to-end talent process at South32, including Employee Experience, Onboarding, Career Entry Programs, Talent Management & Succession Planning and Workforce Planning.

Key role responsibilities include:

  • Strategic execution of Culture and Capability projects including relevant research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, scoping and planning of projects
  • Coordination of HR annual activities across end-to-end talent process and career entry streams
  • Provide support and guidance to HR Business Partnership across end-to-end talent processes and activities
  • Design and continuously improve global procedures owned by Culture & Capability
  • Analyse data and external research to identify organisational capability trends and opportunities for South32
  • Support the delivery of actions associated with risks and controls owned by Culture & Capability


About You 

  • Generalist HR experience working across the full lifecycle of HR activities or relevant experience
  • Experience working in a global organisation (desirable)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), including creating reports, presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio) and with expectational writing ability
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a natural abundance of energy, warmth and genuine enthusiasm
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, with the capability and desire to deliver “hands on” support with your team as and when necessary
  • Good attention to detail and experience in information analysis to diagnose issues, and develop creative and workable solutions
  • Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and delivery focused


Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business related areas; Organisation Psychology, Human Resources, Change Management
