About the role 

We are looking for a Specialist; Organisational Change Management to partner with the business to manage project deliverables of the Autonomous Haulage System and people transition for Western Range. This role is responsible for tactical level of the design and implementation of processes, practices, and tools, based on the Operational Readiness plan to facilitate operational readiness across Paraburdoo Operations.

This role is a great opportunity to apply your industry knowledge to facilitate the OCM (Organisational Change management) deliverables in the Paraburdoo Operational Readiness team. You will problem solve complex issues, support the OR and Operational teams, drive the communications and reporting process, and assist in removing roadblocks to execution.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a 5.2 4.3 roster with Monday – Thursday on site which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. 

Reporting to the Superintendent People Readiness, you will:

  • Be accountable for the logistics, accommodation, schedule, and integration of sites through the AHS training and capability functions
  • Contribute to the operational readiness training plan, schedule, and budget with a focus on OCM, business partner collaboration, communication, and capability development related aspects throughout all stages of the project
  • Develop and implement the project’s OR OCM Plan, contributing to all elements of the change process including stakeholder identification, organisational design, communications, and capability development
  • Regularly monitor employee sentiment and adoption of change and make adjustments in approach when required
  • Support the Western Range AHS transition project with effective Management of Change (MOC) governance
  • Interpreting costs and production drivers to inform strategic thinking and the evaluation and prioritisation of OCM activities
  • Track and report on capability development activities, escalate any risks to plan

What you’ll bring 

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and our team;
  • Experience in risk, capital, process improvements, or similar;
  • Experience in project leadership, change management, stakeholder engagement and cross functional teams;
  • Highly effective organisational, time management and communication skills;
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills;
  • Strong prioritisation and decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to lead, influence, negotiate and motivate;
  • Working knowledge of Archer, SAP, MS Project
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, Economics or related discipline
  • Favourable to have knowledge of risk management principles and guideless such as ISO 31000 Risk Management
