About the Role
This role focuses on driving the performance of Communications and fleet management systems to optimise the communications network and reduce faults with a customer and safety focus.
What Success will look like:
Zero safety incidents and minimal communications outages and high level of availability
About You
Qualifications:
- Trade certificate in Communications (radio, transmission or electronics) or related qualification.
- “C” Class Drivers license
- ACMA Cabler License
Skills:
- Knowledge of Modular (or other) Fleet Management Systems
- Point to Point/Point to Multipoint/Breadcrumb and other wireless communications systems
- Microwave and Optic Fibre communications
- IP Networks
- P25 Digital and Analogue radio maintenance and repairs
- Solar power systems
Experience:
- Experience in installation/maintenance/repairs on fleet management systems is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mining, rail or heavy industrial environment is preferred.
Roster:
- Sportsman’s day shift – 4/5/5 (7 day equal time)
- 12hrs shifts
