About the Role
The Specialist People Logistics supports a team who provide exceptional customer service to deliver safe, reliable and inclusive accommodation and transport services for the Copper SA Asset. This role reports to the Superintendent People Logistics within the Integrated Services Team. In this role you will provide a variety of services including:
- Travel planning, forecasting, scheduling, and demand v capacity coordination
- Shutdown and project mobilisation travel planning, forecasting, scheduling and end to end travel coordination
- Travel bookings and service optimisation
- Travel disruption recovery
- Customer engagement across all areas of workforce, community, and contract business partners
- Travel data analytics
- Frontline coaching and support for people logistics and contract business partners
You will work in a fast paced, customer centric and data analysis environment, requiring high attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Through your collaboration across all site departments, you will provide expertise in people logistics and apply a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies in travel services for Copper SA. You will have a passion for customer service, knowledge of travel booking systems and processes, and a proven experience in people logistics or travel disciplines. This is an Adelaide based position operating on a 5/2 roster arrangement with some site travel required.
About You
- Proven experience within Operational or People Logistics settings across complex organisations
- Ability to influence and mentor others in health and safety principles and behaviours
- Experience working with travel booking systems (e.g. SAMS / Inflight) and dashboards and add-ons and the suite of Microsoft programs
- You have a strong appreciation for the voice of your customer and pursuing operating perfection
- Exceptional communication and presentations skills and the ability to engage across a range of levels
- Analytical problem solver who demonstrates business acumen, with the ability to focus and prioritise deliverables to provide timely insights to stakeholders though the use of quality data analytics
- Effective and highly influential diverse customer engagement including an ability to constructively challenge ideas and build trusted relationships
- The ability to work well as a part of a team
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and execute Business Continuity Plans
