About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Mobile your key focus is Schedule planning using SAP for Mobile Maintenance supporting dozers, loaders, graders and service trucks at Goonyella Riverside Mine located approximately 28 kilometres North of Moranbah QLD.

Responsibility includes:

  • Review notifications and create work orders for approved scopes of work.
  • Develop SAP Master Data, while identifying errors in Master Data and address.
  • Develop short and long-term maintenance plans.
  • Plan for significant repairs and maintenance tasks including parts, labour, tools, and equipment.
  • Raise and track purchase orders for maintenance teams.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and maintain regular engagement to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time.
  • Liaise with external contractors for scheduled visits
  • Manage supplier relationships including product price and meeting of delivery times
  • Review the previous weeks’ work and reschedule as required
  • Ensuring all scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed on time.
  • Review and audit budgets and forecasting of sap strategies.
  • Continues improvement focus.
  • Identify and manage conflicts in the weekly work schedule.

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position as a Scheduler Planner within a Facilities Maintenance environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (eg: Excel, Project - preferred)
  • While it is not mandatory, mining experience will be an advantage.
  • Display Safe work practices and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of care.
  • Ensure high quality and efficient standard of work.
  • Possess a current C class driver’s license.

Location

In this full-time permanent position, you will be on either residential or Drive-in, drive-out arrangement to our Goonyella Riverside mine and working on 5D2X roster. An alternative roster can be discussed.

Goonyella Riverside is a residential mine-site where the majority of our people either live in Moranbah or drive in–drive out from Mackay, Dysart and surrounding areas.  For those who do not reside locally camp accommodation is provided at BMA’s Eureka Camp approximately 5 minutes travel from the mine.
