About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Planner Surface Maintenance, this role involves collaborating with peers, execution teams and leaders across the business to provide a high volume of sequenced work packages in accordance with planning milestones.  

In this role, you will:  

  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Plans to a high quality with consideration to the 12 week Rolling Major Events Calendar and relevant Total Equipment Strategies.
  • Reviews Notifications and creates Work Orders from approved scopes of work.
  • Accurately resources work packages prior to scheduling, arranges specialist or external resources, create required part demand and liaises with Inventory Planner, to support the completion of complex work.
  • Sequences work allowing for optimisation of the schedule.
  • Monitors Parts Availability Tracker (PAT).
  • Increases efficiency and accuracy through repetition of tasks, develops SAP Master Data to embed Standard Work Packages into Task Lists.
  • Identify errors in Master Data and address inconsistency.

About You

You will be a self-motivated professional with a solid record or accomplishment of achieving results through influence, mentoring and planning.

To be successful in this role you will have:  

  • Knowledge of Planning and Scheduling processes and/or logistics and coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence at multiple levels in an organisation.
  • Ability to collaborate with peer groups and client groups to share feedback and resolve problems.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Has existing computer literacy and able to successfully use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word.

Location

This role will be offered as a FIFO from Adelaide and working on 5D2X,4D3X or Residential at Roxby Downs on 5D2X roster. Flexible work options will be considered.  

Roxby Downs is located about 560 kilometers north of Adelaide and about 1 hr flights from Olympic Dam Airport.
