About the role  

Join our inclusive ISP – Planning team, where we turn vision into action! Our team is at the heart of bringing strategic plans to life, navigating uncertainty, and ensuring everyone in the organization is aligned with our business goals.

We’re seeking a talented Specialist Planning (Integrated Schedule) to help us shine. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in integrating and optimizing our schedules, ensuring seamless alignment and managing critical paths. You'll dive deep into our medium-term planning (MTP) process, analysing and mapping out when and how we can develop and access future mining areas, guided by our traditional owner long-term schedule and approvals schedules.

Reporting to the Principal Planning, within the Planning department, you will :

  • Manage the RTIO Integrated schedule (IS) process (inputs, timeline, assumptions, delivery and monitoring) representing the plan
  • Guide multiple teams in providing input data to the RTIO IS including timeline updates, rate assumptions, constraints, task relationship amendments etc
  • Maintain the RTIO IS schedule in Primavera (P6) and compile communication information for RTIO IS updates to support divisional engagement.
  • Build the medium term RTIO Integrated Schedule (Schedule scenarios supporting options, projects enabling the MTP scenarios, Critical path analysis, material performance milestones)
  • Build quarterly updates to the RTIO Integrated Schedule (MTP reconciliation, including risk trends, critical path items)

What you’ll bring

  • Hold a C class manual drivers license
  • Technical expert in project scheduling and reporting on baseline variance and trend
  • Comprehensive understanding of how different functions integrate outputs for projects
  • Understanding of concepts and process for planning key functions contributing to resource industry projects from conceptual stage to implementation
  • Functional understanding of project scheduling (Primavera P6), dependencies and delivery timelines
  • Ability to access, compile, store, analyse and use large data sets.
  • Ability to communicate complex data to audience and derive actionable insights
  • Comprehensive understanding of how different
  • functions integrate outputs for projects.

This role will be offered on 5 days on, 2 days off roster in our Central Park based office, within the Perth CBD hub.
