About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a proactive, dynamic and highly astute professional to join our Finance team. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and proactive accounting professional to join the Operations Services Finance Function. Based out of our Brisbane office this role will collaborate with the Operations Services Deployments and will report directly into the Lead Principal Planning and Reporting for Operations Services Finance. 

The primary purpose of this role will be to provide commercial and financial support through provision of financial analysis to drive improved financial performance and facilitate well-informed decisions.

Some Site travel will be required in order to partner successfully with our Site Management and Deployment Teams.

In this role you will:

  • Have a strong focus on continuous improvement and value accretion. 
  • Assist the Finance Function by performing the end-to-end management accounting function for the operation; as well as performance reporting and insights
  • Perform detailed analytics providing insight to drive value.
  • Analyses outputs of 5YP, 2YB and quarterly forecasts for variability and improvement opportunities.
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Compile decision evaluation modelling and provide recommendations on capital projects.
  • Supporting Finance projects and systems development.

About You

  • Experience in a commercial or finance environment with a proven track record in business analysis;
  • Proven ability to develop strong and trusting relationships with multiple stakeholders;
  • Finance/Commerce Degree qualified (CPA / CA preferred but not essential).
  • Advanced excel desirable.
