About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and proactive accounting professional to join the Nickel West Finance Function. Based out of our Perth office this role will collaborate with the Nickel West operations and will report directly into the Manager Planning & Analytics for Nickel West.
The primary purpose of this role will be to provide commercial and financial support through provision of financial analysis to drive improved financial performance and facilitate well-informed decisions.
Some Site travel will be required in order to partner successfully with our Site Management Team.
In this role you will:
- Have a strong focus on continuous improvement and value accretion for the Nickel West operation.
- Assist the Finance Function by performing the end-to-end management accounting function for the operation; as well as performance reporting and insights.
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Compile decision evaluation modelling and provide recommendations on capital projects.
- Perform detailed analytics providing insight to drive value.
- Supporting Finance projects and systems development.
About You
- Experience in a commercial or finance environment with a proven track record in business analysis;
- Proven ability to develop strong and trusting relationships with multiple stakeholders;
- Finance/Commerce Degree qualified (CPA / CA preferred but not essential).
- Advanced excel desirable.
