We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist – Process Ownership and Improvement to support the continuous refinement and enhancement of global procurement processes. This role is responsible for ensuring procurement operations run smoothly while aligning process improvements with the Global Procurement Content Improvement Strategy.

As a subject matter expert (SME) in procurement best practices, you will play a key role in refining Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes, sourcing tools and templates, and Ariba platform guidance.

Core Accountabilities:

Continuously Improving Procurement Processes:

  • In accordance with an agreed multi-year Content Improvement Strategy, support the redevelopment of S2C materials, while continuously managing their structure, document control, and formatting.

  • Champion content governance for Global Procurement to drive standardisation and to ensure content remains up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across SRG to identify content gaps, and design and implement content solutions that are effective, scalable, and Ai-ready.

  • Providing ongoing maintenance and enhancing the user experience of the AI enabled “Procurement Portal”.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Procurement Best Practices:

  • As a subject matter expert (SME) in procurement best practices, you will play a key role in refining S2C processes (including the Purchase-to-Pay interface).

  • Provide in-depth knowledge and support for sourcing and contracting within Ariba, including templates, workflows, and process optimisations.

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to pinpoint areas for improvement and coordinate content updates to maintain compliance.

Thought Leadership:

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support other SRG teams, acting as a trusted advisor procurement process improvements.

  • Demonstrate indirect leadership by prioritising care, courage, and curiosity.

What you’ll bring 

To be successfully considered for this role, you will ideally have: 

  • Strong knowledge and experience with S2C procurement practices, responsibilities, tools, and systems.

  • Proven ability to analyse existing procurement processes, identify gaps, and design scalable and actionable solutions.

  • Ability to balance operational continuity with long-term process enhancements.

  • Having expertise in Ariba is advantageous.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a large global corporate environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and capable of providing clear guidance and actionable recommendations.

  • Problem solving mindset with attention to detail and user experience.
