About the Role

Olympic Dam is currently recruiting for a Specialist Project Engineer. The objective of this role will be to develop project scope of work, front end loading and manage the AIR project portfolio.

Based at Olympic Dam, this role can be offered on a variety of rosters that enable work to fit best with your lifestyle as either FIFO ex-Adelaide or residential.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant, you will have responsibility for the following:

  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Inspecting pre Identified defects and develop remediation scopes.
  • Develop  scope of works and specifications for projects to tendering out.
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and monitoring budgets versus expenditure on the project.
  • Identification and reporting of defects with risk ranking.
  • Reporting of new defects and changes to existing defects as per AIMS standard.
  • Follow 1SAP work management process including daily time confirmations and raising of defects with priorities.

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Civil or Structural Engineering qualification (recognised by Engineers Australia).
  • Excel and word experience required with 1SAP work management experience advantageous.
  • Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously.
  • Proven commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in ‘Safety Leadership’.
